Boracay Toilet: The Only Toilet in Boracay where you can eat

You do not have to travel to Taiwan to experience that bizarre moment of ingesting food in a toilet-inspired restaurant.

A first in the Philippines, Boracay Toilet will bring you a mini adventure of eating inside a room fabricated like a comfort room.

Right from the stairwell walls going to the entrance, you will already feel like going to a dirty john because of the voluminous vandalism on these walls.

Imagine that effort of having to fill in these walls. Woah!

The ceiling is embellished with water pipes.
Yup, these toilet bowls will be your seat and these sinks covered by glasses will be your dining table. Don't internalize the theme too much by sitting with the toilet cover up as if you're taking a bio break. You're actually prohibited from doing that to avoid breakage of the glass cover.

You think the sink table is just for design purposes? It actually is the place where you can put your things inside.

There's a dedicated place for a photoshoot. Who could resist taking a picture at these giant toilet bowls?

Their menu is not only shaped as a toilet bowl, their recipe names were also creatively transformed. Pork-SHIT-sig, PEE-nakbet, Inihaw na LiemPOOP, their dishes are perfectly named in accordance with the theme. Kudos to the restaurant owners for the admirable humor and effort!

IT'S CHOWTIME!

Their meals are expensive because of their large serving size. See the pictures below:

NOTE: Menu total is subject to 10% service charge.

ICED TEA (PHP 60)

Lipton iced tea. Still, how many times in your lifetime would you drink from a glass carved as a men's urinal?

CRISPY BIRDY (PHP 320)

A loooot of chicken for one. It indeed deserves the adjective "crispy". The chicken is uniquely seasoned.

Their home made gravy is just OK. It's kind of lacking the chicken taste. IMHO, McDonald's gravy is better.

KAL-DIRI-TA (PHP 380)

An unspiced version of kaldereta. Mr. C says he still likes the spicy version. The beef is tender. I liked how the potatoes are thinly sliced.

RICE (PHP 100)

A "toilet" bowl of rice that serves for three.

ORDER WARS
Since Mr. C was not satisfied with his kaldereta, I declare myself to be the winner of this round! And hey, did you know that he ate most of the chicken too?

WHAT WE LIKED:
  • We were astonished that everything was so consistent! The water pipes, the table setting, menu, recipe names, wall mural, everything was relatedly put together!
  • Who wouldn't be amazed by their hilarious menu?
  • There's a dedicated place for photo op session. Perfect for picture addicts like me!

WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE
  • We're impressed by the large serving of the food, however, it could have been better if they invested more on the food's taste. We have to say that their food is just average.
  • The air conditioner was malfunctioning when we were there so we were a bit perspiring while eating.

WANNA-CHOW-AGAIN  METER
Do not expect too much from the food. Just enjoy the unforgettable experience. It can really be stirring on your first time but once you're done taking pictures and eating, the hype will decrease. Hence, we will only rate it as "OK. Been Here."
