If you haven't read our full review of this Japanese restaurant serving value-for-money food in Kawit, feel free to read it here.

IT'S CHOWTIME!

We were badly craving for sashimi so this time around, we swore to prioritize getting their mixed sashimi. However, since we're both starving, we ordered two dishes that can prevent us from getting severe stomach aches before the main event.

CHASHUMEN (PHP 230)

A type of ramen with chashu (braised pork) as its main topping. This bowl ranges from PHP 350-PHP 500 when ordered in Manila.

The bowl is big enough to serve up to 2 persons. Look at those large slices of pork!

A closer shot of the noodles. The texture is perfect. Not the best ramen you'll ever taste but what the heck, priced at 230 and it already served the two of us? That's extraordinary!

SIOMAI (PHP 110)

Or shoud we call it jumbo siomai. Each piece is heavy and the fillings are compact. Took a little while before it got served to us.

MIXED SASHIMI JYOU (PHP 440)

And the main event: our mixed sashimi! Cravings satisfied! Did you notice the price? Starting price of mixed sashimi in most Japanese restaurants in Manila is at PHP 55O. Yep, more than a hundred peso difference.

One noticeable thing we noticed is the wasabi's coarse consistency, not like the artificial wasabi you'll see which looks almost like a paste.

TOTAL BILL: PHP 780

Had we eaten this similar set of meals in a typical Japanese restaurant in Manila, it would have cost us a thousand bucks or more.
